Recorded Documents
Documents, such as grant deeds, deeds of trust, and liens, recorded in Sacramento County since 1850, are available for viewing at either of our office locations. Sacramento County's index of recorded documents is available online to perform a search by party name and year of recording.
To order copies:
- Mail or fax a completed order form. Utilize the online index to find book and page numbers.

Fees
The fee for a certified copy is $9.00 for the first page and $1.00 for each additional page. The fee for a non-certified copy is $8.00 for the first page and $1.00 for each additional page.

Records such as court orders, divorce decrees, and wills are only available from the Sacramento Superior Court:
